Events

The Specktator is thrilled to have European Street Cafe as title sponsor of the online calendar!

As one of my favorite places to eat, drink and socialize in the the city, “E. Street” (as the cool kids call it) makes the perfect partner to help promote the best events happening in the city.

NOTE: This is a “curated calendar,” meaning I have personally reviewed each event and consider it to be of interest to the general public and/or something particularly compelling. It is important to know that businesses cannot buy a calendar entry. That said, if you have an event you would like considered for the calendar, send the pertinent information to whatsup@thespecktator.com.

And by the way, be sure to change the view from “month” to “stream” below. Unless you like being really annoyed.

German Schnitzel Haus Oktoberfest

If you’re going to celebrate a German event, you might as well do so at the German-est place in town—German Schnitzel Haus (I mean, “German” is right there in the name of the restaurant!)—which they’ve been celebrating Oktoberfest every weekend since Sept. 19.

Every Saturday through Oct. 24, Bierliebhabers and Feinschmeckers will be flocking to the Oktoberfest festival tent for beer, wine and a buffet including German Stroganoff, Goulash, Spatzle, Bratkartoffeln, along with live oompah music. And I’m über positive there will be some chicken dancing going on, as well.

The full restaurant menu is available inside the restaurant only. Reservations are recommended.
