Old Arlington, Inc. and the American Institute of Architects-Jacksonville Chapter will host the fifth annual Arlington Mod & More Home Tour Saturday, November 4. On the tour, nicknamed the Mini, Midi, Maxi Mod and More Tour, is a classic 1958 mid-mod home, recently featured in Jacksonville Magazine, restored to fit the hip mod lifestyle of today’s millennial generation and an iconic “butterfly-style” home designed by Robert Broward filled with furniture and accessories of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Tour guests will also have the opportunity to see inside one of Arlington’s historic homes on the St. Johns, and peek into the country’s first LEED certified tiny home. Other tour sites include designs by Jacksonville architects Ted Pappas, Robert Broadfoot and George Fisher. Norman Silent Film Studios, Jacksonville’s newest National Historic Landmark, will also be open for touring.
